With over 28 years’ experience, we specialise in providing the finest VIP corporate hospitality packages, unique travel solutions and overnight accommodation options for the Cheltenham Festival and all other major horse racing meetings.
INTRINSICALLY INVOLVED IN RACING
Our involvement in National Hunt Racing goes much deeper than just providing packages at Cheltenham and other venues. Our CEO, Hugh Doubtfire, owned 25% of Imperial Commander, winner of the 2008 Paddy Power Gold Cup and two Cheltenham Festival races, the 2009 Ryan Air and 2010 Cheltenham Gold Cup. Hugh has also had 40 winners under rules and has had horses with over 10 different trainers including Nigel Twiston Davies, Willie Mullins, Alan King, Jonjo O’Neill, Tim Vaughan, Neil Mulholland, Andrew Balding and many others. This involvement with the trainers and jockeys gives us the opportunity to arrange a visit by racing personalities to our hospitality facilities to enhance our customer’s involvement and experience on the day.
SUPPORTING THE INJURED JOCKEYS FUND & GIVING BACK TO RACING
The Injured Jockeys Fund was founded in 1964 following the devastating accidents involving Tim Brookshaw and Paddy Farrell in that years Grand National. Both jockeys suffered falls resulting in severe paralysis which immediately ended both their careers. Since then the IJF has helped over 1000 jockeys and their families and has paid out more than £20m in charitable assistance. Classic Hospitality is proud to support the Injured Jockeys Fund by making regular donations with revenue generated at our major horse racing events.
